The hardest part: getting started
Do you struggle to start tasks? Like, you know what you need to do, you may even want to do it, but your brain can't seem to bridge the gap between thinking about it and actually starting.
Here’s one ADHD-friendly way to break through that wall:
👉 **Shrink the starting line.**Instead of aiming for the whole task, commit to just the first micro-action.
Examples:
Instead of “write newsletter,” → open a blank doc and type the subject line.
Instead of “clean kitchen,” → set a 5-minute timer and clear just the counter.
Instead of “plan content,” → jot down 3 post ideas in Notes.
Once you’ve started, momentum usually carries you forward. But even if it doesn’t, you still win, because you initiated.
What’s one task you’ve been stuck on? Reply and tell me and I’ll help you brainstorm your micro-action.
